Payroll Developments

The Cubs payroll could expand to $120 million according to Phil Rodgers in today's Chicago Tribune. Hope the extra money is used wisely.

So far it's been kind of questionable, the allocation of resources. I think the real question will be how much money the shell out to medioce starters. Starting pitchers have a tendency to be pretty pricey as compared to value.

Jason-

True as that statement is, acquiring V. Wells in a possible trade with Toronto, would free up money to acquire the quality starter we need.
